Anglepoise Lamp designed by George Carwardine, made by Herbert Terry

This lamp is the traditional Anglepoise shape, Model 1227. Designed by George Carwardine in 1934 and made by Herbert Terry and Sons, Redditch, Great Britain.  It has the 2 step base not 3 so it was made after the late 1930s, it was probably made in the 1960s.  It has 4 joints. The shade and the arm are   75cm long. It is a very flexible lamp.
